Pre Application Community Consultation - Club Development Plans
St John’s GAC is progressing plans to enhance and develop the club’s facilities, including proposed fitness trails with associated landscaping and site works, trail path lighting, 3 no. pedestrian bridges, outdoor fitness equipment, outdoor seating areas, flood lighting to pitch 01, bike pump track, 2 no. Play parks, community garden / vegetable garden / allotments, roof mounted solar panels to existing club building, electric car charging points, covered stand to pitch 02, change of grass surface training pitch to synthetic training pitch with associated flood lighting & ball wall.
The club invites members of the community to view the proposals and meet with the project architect and Development Committee on Monday 12 October from 4.00pm to 9.00pm at St John’s GAC Clubrooms, 2 Ballywillwill Road, Castlewellan, BT31 9NR.
This pre-application consultation forms an important part of the planning process, providing the local community with an opportunity to review the proposed designs and offer feedback before a formal planning application is submitted. Site plans, layout drawings and details of the proposed facility upgrades are detailed below and will be available for viewing on the evening.
The event is open to all members of the community. A feedback box will be available for anyone wishing to share comments or observations on the proposals.
